Ellen DePodesta has 15 years experience in helping client companies and organizations communicate better. She has managed public relations for clients including the Greater Cincinnati Convention and Visitors Bureau, Tom Gill Chevrolet, Morgan Stanley, the Beach Waterpark, Trasys IT Services, Radisson Hotel Cincinnati, Walker Marine Group, and Chicago's Live Bait Theater.

Previously, Ellen was a vice president at Dan Pinger Public Relations Inc. in Cincinnati. During her nine years there, she developed and led programs for clients including Starbucks Coffee, Cincinnati Financial Corporation, Deloitte & Touche, the Newport Aquarium, Newport on the Levee, Redfish Seafood Kitchen, and Palomino Euro Bistro. She has placed client stories in national media outlets including CNN, CNBC, Investors Business Daily, Inc Magazine, Success Magazine, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, as well as local television, radio and print media.

Previously she was account executive at Kalman Communications, a Los Angeles public relations agency specializing in high technology clients including Xerox and Toshiba. At both Kalman Communications and Dan Pinger Public Relations, she gained experience in strategic planning, local, regional, and national media relations, media training, editorial briefings with reporters, key message development, and crisis communications. Ellen also was editorial manager for nationally recognized marketing consultant Jay Abraham at Abraham Group, Inc. in Los Angeles for two years.

Ellen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and public relations from the Ohio State University and pursued continuing education courses in public relations at the University of California, Los Angeles. She is accredited (APR) by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
